This is a warning for anyone who may come into contact with Paul Ternant, currently residing in Prudhoe, Northumberland.
It is extremley important your family and friends should be warned to ensure they do not lend money to him. Paul has taken money from
vunerable people and avoids paying back debt.
Paul has a history of building trust with elderly, disabled and vunerable people,
usually women. When they ask for the money to be repayed, Paul will make excuises and
may eventually move to intimidate the victim. At this stage family members have to get
involved as the victim is no longer able to handle the situation. In one particular case,
broke down in tears and was unable to speak to her family about the situation.
Numerous attempts were made to request money from Paul by very low monthly payments which
he agreed to do. However, Paul fails to keep to his word and fails to make payments,
using any excuise he can create.
Earlier this year, Paul was taken to court and was ordered to pay back the money he owed.
Paul began to make payments. After 2 payments of £20 per month, Paul stopped making payments
and did not inform anyone. Again, family had to get involved to request payment. Paul
then requested (and was awarded) 'Breathing Space'. This scheme allows him to stop payments
until a time in the future (of which is out of our control).
Paul continues to make excuses and avoids paying back the money he owes. He has been seen
buying alcohol and other non-essentials - and seems not to care about flaunting it.
Paul is very clever (in some ways) and can 'play the system'
very, very well. On first impression, Paul seems friendly and trustworthy, but this is usually
a facade. Paul is a very manipulative person and will use any means to get what he wants.
I will continue to update this page with new information until the debt has been paid in full,
at which point I will remove this page. In the meantime, please share this information
with anyone who may come into contact with Paul to make them aware of his current situation and
questionable past to ensure nobody else can fall victim to his lies.
Please, warn others of Pauls situation and warn them to be very careful and vigilant when
having anything to do with him.
